New Year In Sight

So it’s been awhile, let me see.  So looking at 2009, things are starting to take shape for the consulting business here in Seattle.  The last two months have been very quiet for us.  Our clients simply pressed the pause button on their project and staffing work.  In the same breath, a number of large firms are cutting really deep.  WAMU, Boeing, BAE, the list continues to grow.  Regardless, critical projects will go on.  From a resource perspective a number of highly talented IT and Sales professionals are now available and more willing to look at other opportunities. 

I am still very concerned about 2009.  While I see some brilliant things in our pipeline, I can’t help but to hold my breath a little.

Our staff has really kicked up their activity over the last few months.  I am amazed by their efforts in terms of sales and relationship building.  I can say the group takes pride in our firm and they truly do care about our clients and consultants.
